These terms govern your use of Ambolt. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The service

Ambolt is a workout logging and training app: build cycles and standard strength workouts, log your sessions, and see your history, personal records, and analytics.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Ambolt. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use.

Not medical advice

Ambolt provides general fitness information and tracking. It is NOT medical advice and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Consult your doctor or a trainer before starting any exercise program. You perform exercises and use the app entirely at your own risk. Stop and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, or distress.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app: no attempting to breach security or access other users’ data, no unlawful use, and no interfering with the service.

Your content

You own the workout data you create. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the app to you.

Our content

The app, its design, the name "Ambolt", and the logo are ours or our licensors’. Do not copy, redistribute, or create derivatives without permission.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own record of anything important to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any injury or loss arising from your use of the app or performance of any exercise.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You can stop using Ambolt and delete your account at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
